We are not just daycare! Our rich preschool curriculum employs both a play-centered learning approach as well as the self-sufficiency and academic challenge of the Montessori style.
* Spanish through partial immersion (Spanish is spoken in the classroom at least half the time)
* Kindergarten readiness, including both life skills and academic preparation
* Physical education each day (outdoors, weather permitting)
* Music and science days each week
* Gentle, successful potty learning, with no tears and no stress!!!
* Regular field trips to places of interest
In addition to our preschool day, we function as a childcare home. Our policies serve to highlight the nurturing, warm atmosphere that we provide throughout the day.
* Nutritious breakfast, lunch and snacks, cooked from scratch. We do not serve prepackaged meals (such as EZ Mac) but strive to provide healthy, delicious food.
* Open door policy---parents are welcome at any time, for any reason.
* Careful attention to health and safety---all toys are sanitized regularly, safety gates are installed in appropriate locations, and the children are always in the presence of a CPR/First Aid trained individual.
* Nonpunitive approach---we work together to solve behavior challenges, viewing them as a learning experience.
